Medical Equipment
The Global Access team was honored to spend the day loading a 40’ container with medical equipment with Centura Global Health Initiatives (GHI) headed to their partner hospital in Iquitos, Peru. Centura is committed to making a change in the world and we were glad to contribute.
The Challenge
The challenge for any for-profit company with a non-profit or charitable offshoot is to capture and quantify honest user feedback. Identifying problems help improve the product. However, it is culturally unacceptable to speak poorly about a ‘gift’ to the ‘giver’.
Water for Life Grant
The Global Access team of Roger and Rob travel to the Amazon to distribute and validate water filtration systems through a grant funded by the Rotary Club of Flat Irons in Boulder with support of Conapac and the Rotary Club of Iquitos.
Rwanda January 2020
Roger met with the Principal and several officials from the school where 250 children attend. They have been using a single water filter sytem for 10 months for the entire school. They stated all 250 children have been drinking the water from one filter; this requires around 40 liters each day.
