As a global water filter charity, we provide affordable filters, hands-on training, and ongoing support that empower families to access safe drinking water and build lasting resilience against waterborne diseases. With this technology, Mighty Water, in collaboration with Safi, has developed the one of the most affordable clean water solutions in the world.

Not All Hollow Fiber Membranes Are Created Equal

As a non-profit, we maintain the agility to select to the latest technology that is economically feasible for impoverished regions of the world. Our suppliers have developed an ultra-durable washable whole home filter. It is more durable, more environmentally resilient, and more chemically resilient. The result is a solution that is claimed to last twice as long and recover from drying better than smaller outdoor survival filters. We are excited to increase our durability and longevity to meet the technical, behavioral, and social challenges of the most remote places around the world. Recreational filters are magnificent at what they do, but they just don’t rise to the daily challenges of waters that have higher turbidity and biological load. These conditions require a larger washable whole-home application.
